Module Question 3 and 4

1. Try to look at your parents or your guardians. When can you say they are being egoistic? Altruistic. Give one scenario for each.
        I can say that they are egoistic in the time that you get into a relationship. I knew they have good reasons why they are mad if we are getting into a relationship while we're still studying. They are afraid that it may cause our dreams and their dreams for as fail. They are afraid that we will give more time and focus into relationship than studying. But haven't it come to their minds that they have also experienced to love and to be loved. Haven't it come also to their minds that even we are in a relationship, we are still doing our best prior to our studies. We are still thinking the tomorrow and our future. We are Doing this to give back what they have given to us. But we can't blame them, they are our parents, they are only doing this for the sake of our future.

        I can say that they are altruistic the time that they have raised as to school, they are not only doing this just for our future, they also doing this because they knew it is the right thing to do. Every child has the freedom to learn and to know the things they need to know. The more the knowledge a person has, the more they can defend their selves and the more they can interact to the outside world.

2. If you are to assess yourself, what kind of a person are you? Are you an egoist, or an altruist? Discuss in relevance to your own experiences in computing.
        I am an altruistic person, I admit, I'm not a brilliant student, having a passing grade can already satisfy me. I am not aiming a very high grades, but I gave my very best to prove to myself that I am not a weak person. I make my own codes because that is the right thing to do. It makes my self to stand on my own. Time comes that we have already our own job, and competency in that time is very high. That's why I am practicing my self to be independent.

3. As Aristotle says, “for as it is not one swallow or one fine day that makes a spring, so it is not one day or a short time that makes a man blessed and happy.” … Discuss in relevance to your own experiences in computing.
        In making a program it is not totally perfect even if it is already runable. It will take a many test before you can say that it is fully runable. Before you can make a certain program successful, it will cost first more time and effort, that's why if you want to finish your program before the deadline, start it early to make it successful.

Module Question 2

1.) If I were a part of the VSU team who formulate a handbook like that of Virginia University the 2 policies that I want to be implemented in VSU or even just for CS students like me is:

• Limitations of websites to access
  - students can only access those websites which is for educational purpose only. For example; google, moodle, wiki and yahoomail. All other websites will be blocked like porn sites and youtube. There is a corresponding punishments for those who will violet this policy. First caught will be warned, and the time they will do it again they cannot use anymore the computer units of the DCST bulding, for Computer Science students they cannot access anymore the moodle, their account will be blocked.
  
• Changing and adding DCST's computer application
  - your are not allowed to change or install application to any computer units in DCST, it may cause of entering viruses because some software has a backdoor viruses and it may destroy the computer. If you are caught violating this policy and it will cause damage to the computer, you will be the one who will fix what ever the problem the computer has.

2.) What could be ethical to one could be unethical to another. If this is the case, in which ethics seem to be subjective in nature, why is there a need to study computer ethics at all?
     - I think most people does more unethical things than ethical thing. Most people think first what will be the benefit to them if they do a certain thing. Even if it will cause bad to others but it will cause good to them, they still do that thing.
     - Computer Ethics is very important, it wakes the mind of every people that the thing they will going to do is not always right and good of both sides between self and other people. Example; a person is using a pirated software and it helps him so much, even it helps him so much, he doesn't know that before that software has done, that cost time and mind to the programmers who made that software. So if he supports that software and the programmers, he should buy it legally.

3.) If you are to practice just one type of the non-jural law for the entire existence of your life, what would it be and why?
     - I would practice The divine Law, because other law would fall under the divine law. Once you are a follower of this law, your faith to God will become stronger, you will only do things which cause good not only to your self but also to others.

Ambitions in Life as a Computer Science Student

1. What would you like to be 5 yrs from now? (hopes, aspirations, wishes)

        I would like to have a job with high amount of salary where I may able to support my family and buy all the things that I haven't obtained during my college days. 50% of summary will be save because I'm planning to build a business. That business will become my family's business that supports our daily needs.

        My first priority today is my family, specially to my parents because they are the one who supports me and put me where I am today. Thank you Ma, Pa, you are the best mother and father in the whole world.

2. If you are to develop a program to promote moral values, what program would you do? and why?

        I would create a Bible mobile application where you can read the words of God to inhance your spiritual values and also your moral values.

3. If you are a machine, what would you be and why?

        If I were a machine, I would like to become a cellphone. Because cellphone is very important during accidents or calamities. You can easily call a friend or a person whenever or wherever is he/she. It also serves as your mother who wake you up early in the morning. When your are bored and stressed and you want to hear music to lessen what you feel you can easily turn on the music player. Mobile phone have made our life easier and comfortable. Keeping you in touch with your family, friends, and other known.
